Communications
Our Communications Group provides buried conduit and manhole infrastructure, utility pole installation, indoor and outdoor copper cabling, fiber optic cabling, and all required premise connectivity and pathway hardware. We also install and implement wireless systems for long-haul and last-mile communications. This group owns an extensive array of heavy equipment which allows us to work in any environment throughout the Virgin Islands. We also own all of the testing equipment required to certify any Local or Wide Area Network.
Outside Plant Construction
Every corner of the Virgin Islands and each section of the U.S. Virgin Islands is connected to fiber and copper cable that B-Tech has installed. Buried in conduit or through aerial duct; we have completed the most demanding Outside Plant build-outs in the Caribbean. We can do it anywhere.
Wireless Network
Point to Point, Point to Multi-point or Mesh; whichever configuration is best for your network you will find it at B-Tech Contracting and Technology. We have hundreds of base stations, subscribers and nodes installed performing voice, data and video miracles in the air.
Fiber Optic Cabling
Indoors or out; single or multi-mode; 2 to 288 strands; – we have pulled, blown, spliced and certified thousands of miles of fiber optic cable. Pharmaceuticals, hospitals, airports, courthouses, urban centers, telephone companies and Cable TV companies have all relied on B-Tech for their mission critical infrastructure.
Copper Cabling
We do not like to brag about how mature a company we are, but we remember when coaxial cable was the hottest thing for data. Since then Cat 1, Cat 3, Cat 5 and Cat 5e have all gone by and still here we are, pulling Cat 6 and 6a like it’s going out of style.
Connectivity
B-Tech has access to all of the major brands of premises connectivity products (and some not-so-major brands). Whatever your specification (and budget) calls for, we will hook you up. Labeling and Certifications are included, of course.
